Oh, Ok.

$45

I bought a D-Link Wireless N600 router recently.

It only worked for 3 days.

The 5 GHz frequency gave out two days ago and now I’m only getting half of my download speed. I’m literally less then 2 ft away from the router and I am at only two bars…

I’ve researched online if anyone else has had the same problem and low and behold, a lot of people do.

Also, after calling technical support and not having an sort of resolution to my problem I think I’ve figured something out.

It only took me $45 to realize that Netgear and Asus will forever continue being the only companies I use for networking equipment. Luckily, I have a backup netgear router in the mean time until I can buy another one.

By the way, I can’t return it to B&H because my dumb ass couldn’t be bothered with keeping the receipt and box after purchasing it and bringing it home.

P.S. If the netgear or asus gods are listening, please gift this mortal with a brand spanking new router!

Guess who’s going exploring next week in the meadowlands???

This guy right here!

I’ll post pictures up soon. I wish I had a 28mm instead of the 50mm I have now for exploring. I’ll try to make it work.

Time Warner Cable just upgraded my Internet speed for free.
That speed at $50?
